WIFW’15: Pankaj & Nidhi Impress With Lace

The husband-wife duo Pankaj and Nidhi have lived up to their reputation as ace designers with their latest WIFW 2015 collection. Day 2 of WIFW 2015 closed with Pankaj and Nidhi's collection that wove magic in lace. Sheer lace and crochet has always been the preferred style of designing for this couple.

At Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2015 Spring Summer, this collection gave a perfect end to the day. The designs were heavy on pastels. We saw extensive use of sky blue, peach and coral shades. Nudes were also used interspersed with other colours and sometimes stand alone. This season surely belongs to pastels as we have seen many collections at WIFW 2015 use these colours in their designs.

The most noticeable elements of Pankaj and Nidhi's WIFW 2015 collection were the asymmetrical sleeves, the high low shrugs and the layered dresses. We got to see palazzo pants, palazzo jumpsuits and some pleated skirts as well. There was a particular lace shrug with a cap that caught our eye instantly.

There are two coral coloured lace gowns in this collection with sheer details. One of the gowns is a sleeveless maxi and the other is jacket gown. We have marked these two dresses to be picked by celebrities for sure. The lace details in these dresses are so intricate that it takes your breath away.
