Vidya Balan is one unpredictable celebrity when you look at her from the fashion angle. Sometimes she gets her fashion choices horribly wrong and then she can surprise you suddenly by doing something totally cool. For example, Vidya Balan was in a Payal Khandwala outfit recently and it was not a saree; yet she managed to look completely fantastic. Whenever Vidya Balan wears skirts, it gets a lot of flak from the fashion police.

However, this time we can see Vidya Balan looking great in something that is not a saree or an Indian outfit. It is a welcome change to see Vidya Balan in this Payal Khandwala outfit. Vidya has dawned a black lungi skirt with a brick red top. The top that Vidya is wearing is comfortably off-shoulders. The top also has loose poncho like sleeves that goes with the generally loose fitting of the blouse. This kind of top complemented the black lungi skirt very well and also helped to hide Vidya's 'tyres' or layers of belly fat.

Vidya Balan has her own style and sometimes, she can surprise us by coming up with these novel looks that completely work for her and also satisfy fashion commentators like us. Vidya Balan wore the Payal Khandwala outfit with some really nice accessories. She went for the ethnic touch with an arm full of silver bangles and a large cocktail ring. She also wore a silver chain necklace to complement the off-shoulders top. Vidya Balan's jewellery was from Amprapali.

But what we loved best about this look was Vidya Balan's hair. We have not seen Vidya Balan in properly curled hair for a long time. The half pony hairstyle reminded us of her early days in the industry. The hairstyle went well with the Boho-chic look that she was trying to get at in this off-shoulders top and the lungi skirt. Full marks to Vidya for this outfit and it was also styled to perfection.
