Vidya Balan In Manish Malhotra Anarkali
Vidya Balan is sporting her new 'Bobby Jasoos' look everywhere these days for the promotion of her upcoming movie. And the messy side braid has become symbolic of her new 'jasoos' avatar. So, we were not surprised when we saw the spirited star appear at a recent award function sporting her latest favourite hairstyle. Vidya Balan was in a Manish Malhotra anarkali for the Life Ok Awards last evening.
When it comes to Vidya Balan, her fashion choices are very drastic. She either makes a complete mess of her outfit or she looks totally stunning in the dresses she wears. However, this time around she managed to surprise us with a look that was quite decent but not outstanding. Vidya Balan was in a Manish Malhotra creation that was pretty. Muted green and shades of pink made the outfit look nice.
However, the sleeves of the outfit were ill-fitting. Vidya, probably, did not get time to have them altered before the event. Moreover, she did not manage to accessorise the outfit very well. Usually, Vidya Balan manages to look good in suits. However, this suit sat a little heavily on the 'Bobby Jasoos' star.

Vidya Balan In Manish Malhotra
Vidya Balan was in a Manish Malhotra floor-length anarkali suit. We like the light pastel shades of this outfit. However, the sleeves are a bit too long for Vidya. She needed to get the dress altered.
Vidya Balan's Earrings
Vidya Balan wore long golden earrings with pearls inset in them. They looked very bright but this dress would have looked far better with a pair of statement earrings.
Hairstyle
Vidya Balan is sporting her hairstyle from 'Bobby Jasoos' these days. The messy braid was a little too messy for our liking. She would have looked better with her hair let down.
Makeup
Vidya managed to do a very good job with her makeup. She has focussed on shades of pink to plum up her cheeks. She highlighted her eyes with black kohl to keep things bright.
Ring
Vidya Balan was wearing a matching cocktail ring with her outfit. The ring was nice and not too large.
Silver Sandals
We simply do not understand the significance of wearing silver coloured sandals with this outfit. Even Kolapuri chappals would have fared better in their place.
All In All
In totality, this was a look that was quite decent. Vidya looked elegant but she could have done a few things better to really fire up the look.
