Vaani Kapoor rose to fame after making some really smoldering red carpet appearances last year. She is known for her bold style statement and especially for her penchant for going backless. However, this time we have spotted this starlet in a very traditional and modest avatar. Vaani Kapoor was in a Sabyasachi anarkali for the new store launch of AZVA in Bandra.

No scooped out back, halter neck or plunging necklines this time. And yet, Vaani Kapoor looked great in this Sabyasachi outfit. This means that she can look good in traditional clothes as well. Vaani ditched her favourite designer Nikhil Thampi by dressing in a floor length anarkali from ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She is spotted in Nikhil Thampi creations very often.

But on this occasion, Vaani Kapoor was in a black anarkali gown with a net drape. The silhouette has shades of black, gold and beige. The sleeves were sheer as they were made out of beige coloured net. The bodice of the lehengad had black and gold brocade work. The V-neckline was not overtly drooping. There was a layer of sequined work on the neckline.

Vaani Kapoor looked hot with her hair let down in this traditional avatar. She middle parted her hair and pinned it loosely. Her hair hung in soft curls over her shoulder. What was most interesting is that she went sansa jewellery inspite of wearing an ornate anarkali. Vaani Kapoor looked good and carried what she wore rather well. We would give her a 9 out of 10 on the fashion meter.
