Sonam Shimmers In Magenta Dress
Sonam Kapoor has made many avant-garde fashion choices in the recent past. She was basically dressing 'in character' for the promotions of the movie 'Khoobsurat' where she has been described as a 'royal misfit'. But finally, she has come back to the basics. We saw Sonam Kapoor in a shimmering Bibhu Mohapatra dress recently on the sets of 'Cine Stars Ki Khoj'.
We have seen a lot of celebrities sport Bibhu Mohapatra dresses recently. Apart from Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and many Hollywood celebrities have also been seen wearing this designer. Sonam Kapoor was in a dress of midi length with interesting sleeve details. The shimmering dress was maggi sleeved on one side and sleeveless on the other.
The most attractive part about this outfit was the shimmer and the shine on it. However, Bibhu Mohapatra dress that Sonam Kapoor wore was not too blingy to hurt the eyes. Ms Kapoor pulled her hair back into a high pony tail and changed her makeup strategy a bit. She went for nude lips with dramatic eye makeup. Sonam Kapoor's Mawi earrings stood out in this shimmering ensemble.

In Bibhu Mohapatra
Sonam Kapoor was in a dress by Bibhu Mohapatra. This designer of Indian origin has his signature style with midis and this one was no different.
Shimmer And Shoulder
There were two things about this dress that was very noticeable. firstly, there was shine and shimmer that came from the fabric of the dress. Secondly, the dress was sleeveless on one side and maggie sleeved on the other.
Mawi Earrings
Sonam Kapoor wore dazzling blue earrings from the designer label Mawi with this dress.
Satin Heels
Sonam finished off this ensemble by wearing grey stain high heel pumps. We like the effect that these satin shoes have on this outfit.
High Pony
Sonam Kapoor went for the uncharacteristic high pony tail with this look. This hairstyle suited her just fine though. In fact it accentuated the sleeve details of this dress.
Makeup
Sonam Kapoor wore nude gloss on her lips and used black eye liner to make her eyes look dramatic. We can also see a hint of blush on her cheeks.
