Sonam Kapoor Dissappoints In Ilk Dress

Sonam Kapoor is usually among the best dressed celebrities in any event. But Sonam Kapoor's look at the Mid-day relaunch part really disappointed fashion commentators. Dress worn by Sonam Kapoor was an Ilk outfit that was really not her style. It is good to be experimental with your style statement. And that is why we always appreciate the fact that Sonam Kapoor tries designer clothes of different styles. But this dress worn by Sonam Kapoor is an example of a fashion experiment gone wrong.

Sonam Kapoor's Ilk dress comprised of a skirt and blouse. The sky blue long skirt was pleated at the side. What made the outfit look even worse was the bulky full-sleeved top. The top had a half sleeved shrug-like jacket attached to it. This made the dress worn by sonam Kapoor look top heavy. The entire visual effect of this outfit was lopsided and dishevelled. Even a range of premium accessories could not rescue Sonam Kapoor's Ilk outfit.

SONAM KAPOOR: PERFECT FROM HEAD TO TOE

Sonam Kapoor carried a black Prada clutch with this outfit and wore black peep-toes & earrings. We like the accessories but the dress is definitely not we would like to see on the stylish diva. All the accessories with this dress were black in colour. there again, we feel that Sonam Kapoor could have done better. Black was not the right colour for accessorising this dress. May be white would have been a better option. Although Sonam Kapoor carried her Ilk outfit confidently, it was total dud.

In Ilk

We saw Sonam Kapoor wearing a blue coloured Ilk outfit for this event. The side pleated skirt and full-sleeves top surely did not suited Sonam. We have never seen Sonam Kapoor wear Ilk before and we have to say that the first time was a major disappointment.

Black Prada Clutch

Sonam Kapoor should have reserved this exclusive black Prada clutch for a better outfit. The Prada clutch was really suave but it did not do any good to this dress that Sonam Kapoor was wearing.

Black Earrings From Zariin

Sonam's black ear studs came from the designer label ‘Zariin'. The earrings were two black studs. they look quite versatile but do not match this blue outfit.

Black Shoes

Sonam Kapoor wore black coloured peep toes that were hardly visible under the lopsided skirt. The peep toes have a perforated style. But these shoes would have looked better with a slightly shorter dress.

Finger Rings

Sonam wore two large finger rings; one white and the other black. These finger rings were from the designer label ‘Dhora'. Sonam Kapoor has really nice and slender fingers. we cannot figure out why she would wear large and chunky rings on her slim fingers.
