Kalki Koechlin Covers French Vanity Fair

Kalki Koechlin was recently in the news for being estranged from husband Anurag Kashyap. Actually, it was Anurag Kashyap's open love affair with one of his friends that was making news. However, we suddenly have much better things to tell about Kalki. In fact, it is a matter of pride that the French version of Vanity Fair has Kalki Koechlin on its cover for the month of June. Kalki Koechlin looks stunning on the Vanity Fair cover spread and gives us two completely different looks for the cover.

Kalki Koechlin is in full bridal wear for the Vanity Fair magazine. Kalki Koechlin is in a Sabyasachi saree that looks every inch bridal. The tan coloured saree is sheer and has intricate lace details. The embroidery on the saree is done with golden beads. Kalki Koechlin is wearing the saree with a sleeveless blouse. The blouse that Kalki Koechlin is wearing with the Sabyasachi saree is golden and completely sequined.

She has also middle parted her hair and pulled it back into a severe bun. The jewellery that goes with this bridal look is strictly traditional. The large and heavy temple khumkas are the statement pieces of jewellery that is going with this look. The blouse has a necklace like bordered neckline that is why, Kalki skipped wearing a neck piece.

Besides, Kalki is wearing a couple of slim bangles on her wrists. The bridal look is justified by heavy makeup in which deep plum coloured lips stand out. Kalki had another look wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit that was black and gold in colour.

The other look that we saw from Kalki Koechlin in this Vanity Fair issue is in start contrast to this bridal look. Kalki Koechlin is in a Chanel dress for the French Vanity Fair photo spread. The noodle strap Chanel dress was white in colour and had tattered hemline. The V-neck dress has a dangerously plunging neckline that comes almost up to Kalki's navel.

Kalki went almost sans makeup for this look. She left her long locks loose and wore signature white ivory bangles in both hands. She has used a thin line of white eyeliner to accentuate her eyes. Kalki Koechlin's Chanel dress and the bridal ensemble make a nice mash up for the Vanity Fair spread.
