One of the most awaited fashion shows, Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2013 has commenced today. On the very first day, budding fashion designers set the ramp on fire with their exquisite collections. Debashri Samanta, Karishma Jamwal, Ragini Ahuja, Shubham Kumar, Sneha S. Saha and Stephany D'Souza were the fashion designers who showcased their summer resort collection on the Day-1 of Lakme Fashion Week 2013.

What did we see on the Day-1 of Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2013? Stripes, monochorme prints, jumpsuit, bright coloured flowing summer outfits and handwoven khadi silk graced the Lakme Fashion Week's ramp.

Printed capris

Printed pants especially capris and three-quarter pants are trending this spring summer season.

Orange gown

This is simple yet bright and stylish orange gown by Zovi. The flowing orange gown with frills look casual for the beach look.

This desi jumpsuit (kurta with a dhoti style pant) looks bright and fashionable for summer!
