Celebs At New York Fashion Week Spring 2014

As we were enjoying a long weekend here in India, the New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 was underway in the fashion world. Usually, the New York Fashion Week is a big event on the fashion calendar. There is a troupe of Hollywood celebrities who flock to this important fashion event every year. However, this year the New York Fashion Week 2014 Spring was a rather low key event.

There were about a dozen or more Hollywood celebrities in attendance. However, the gloss and glamour of a typical fashion event was missing from the New York Fashion Week Spring 2014. The show began with the Mercedes-Benz collection on 6th of September. Many Hollywood celebrities including Heidi Klum and Kerry Washington attended the opening ceremony of the New York Fashion Week Spring 2014.

Other notable designers who presented there collections at this show were Alexander Wang and Prabal Gaurang. Victoria Beckham's couture was also displayed at the New York Fashion Week Spring 2014. In fact, the gorgeous Victoria Beckham also made an appearance on the ramp herself. Heidi Klum and Kerry Washington also walked the ramp for this important fashion event.

Rihanna In Grey Dress

Rihanna wore a frumpy dress with baggy sleeves that is quite unlike her style. Her grey silk dress was worn with dotted black stockings.

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell walked the ramp in a patterned black and cream dress for New York Fashion Week Spring 2014. The super model wore a creation by designer Diane von Furstenburg.

Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington also took to the ramp in a perky grey silk dress with red floral details. She wore pointed red high heel pumps to match her look as she walked for Stella McCartney.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum walked the ramp in a shimmering silver coloured mermaid gown. The one shoulder gown gave her silhouette body a very curvaceous look.

Victoria Beckham

Designer Victoria Beckham took to the stage after her show in a plain white collared shirt and loose black three-fourth pants.

David Beckham

Devoted husband David Beckham was present with daughter Harper 7 to cheer Victoria. He looked dapper as usual in a black suit.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum was seen in the audience wearing an embellished black tunic and tight fitting black leggings.

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker looked classy in a full-sleeved loose black dress and shimmering diamond earrings to go with it.

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba was seen wearing various stylish outfits during New York Fashion Week Spring 2014. But we just loved this monochrome jacket worn over a made-to-fit black dress.

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber was present both on Day 1 and 2 of New York Fashion Week. But his sense of fashion has not improved by this experience.

Kate Upton

Model of the Year, Kate Upton wore a black side slit dress with a plunging V-neck. The dress was elegantly formal for a change.

Kelly Osbourne

Apart from the purple highlights on Kelly Osbourne's hair, we also liked her simple bottle green dress.

Kayne West looked his usual self in an over-sized denim jacket for the Alexander Wang show at the New York Fashion Week.
