Anju Modi's Couture At DCW 2013
The much awaited PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013 has finally kick started. The very first day of the DCW 2013 was a glamourous event. Anju Modi and ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee opened the DCW 2013.
Anju Modi showcased a colourful Couture on the PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013. Handwoven fabrics in ivories of blush and a hint of golden work and velvet fabric was seen on the ramp. However, Anju Modi used bright colours like saffron orange and red extensively on the ramp. These bridal colours are very common in the Indian society and Anju Modi has made use of it smartly.
Lehengas, anarkalis and gowns in these colours were graced on the ramp by various models. On the very first day, we had a celebrity showstopper. Anju Modi's Couture was wrapped up by Bollywood actress Tabu. The actress walked the ramp wearing an red and orange coloured lehenga. The Red Anarkali Gown
The sheer red anarkali gown has three layers and looks stunning. The golden and velvet red borders of the gown makes it look heavy.

Saffron and Red Lehenga
This Indian blend of colours looks eye catchy. The velvet red and golden lehenga has been teamed up with a red velvet blouse. It has been wrapped up with a saffron dupatta.

Frills
Bandhgalas, anarkali sleeves and bottoms of the Anju Modi couture at DCW 2013 had lots of frills in it.

Red Silk Anarkali Gown
This silk red anarkali gown too has frills of different layers and the shoulder work looks as if the model has wore a bandhgala jacket.

Multi-coloured Lehenga
The nude coloured lehenga has been teamed up with a velvet red ankle length sheer kurta which has hues of velvet fabric on the bodice. The lehenga has been accessorised with a saffron dupatta.

Printed Lehenga
Anju Modi showcased this Gothic printed multi-coloured lehenga at DCW 2013 ramp. Golden accessories look stylish!
