Famous People Who Died In Plane Crash
Plane crashes are nothing new. You must have read about the recent Nepal plane crash. These disastrous aviator accidents never spares a single passenger. Many famous celebrities have also died in such similar disasters. Lets check out few names of famous people who lost their lives in aviator accidents.
Taruni Sachdev: Remember the child artist who worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the movie, Paa? The 14-year-old Rasna girl died in the Nepal plane crash on May 14th, 2012. She was flying with her mother and both died in the accident.

Sanjay Gandhi: The younger son of Indira Gandhi (Former Prime Minister of India), was the rising Indian Politician. Unfortunately, he died in a plane crash on June 23rd, 1980 at the age of 33. Sanjay Gandhi was piloting and before landing, he looped and lost control. The plane surfaced down and crashed.
Aaliyah: The 22-year-old American singer and actress died in 2001 plane crash. After shooting for a video, she boarded for Bahamas and the flight crashed as soon as it departed.
John F. Kennedy, Jr: The elder son of former US President John F. Kennedy also died in a plane crash. Carolyn Bessette (his wife) and Lauren Bessette (sister-in-law) died with John F. Kennedy Jr in the same plane crash. The plane went out of control and spiraled and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.
Will Rogers: The motion pictures actor and humorist, Will Rogers, died in the 1935 plane crash. Even Wiley Post, an American aviator who was the first pilot to fly solo around the world, died in the same accident. To pay a tribute to Rogers, an airport in Oklahoma City has been named after him.
Hansie Cronje: The 32-year-old South African cricketer also lost his life in a plane crash on June 1st, 2002. While returning from Johannesburg to George, the pilot lost visibility due to the clouds and the aircraft crashed into the Outeniqua mountains.
