The Woman Behind A Successful Man:
1. Her famous husband Shahrukh Khan is termed as the 'king' of Bollywood. When they were married in 1991, he was no more than just another Delhi guy struggling to make his mark in the Mumbai film industry. Gauri's maiden name was Chibba as she hailed from a Hindu Punjabi family but she has this inter-religion marriage work like magic. 2. Anjali Tendulkar: Talking about having a successful husband and miss Sachin Tenduldar's wife! The God of Cricket has a doctor as his better half. Anjali and Sachin met at an airport for the first time in 1990 when he was returning after making his first century and she did not recognize him! Little Master was smitten by her lack of cricketing knowledge and they were married in 1995 in spite of an unfavorable age difference. Then Anjali took the biggest decision of her live by quitting her medical career to deal with pressures of being a celebrity wife and here we are 17 years later.
3. Sudha Murthy: The woman behind the successful man who changed the face of Indian IT industry. Sudha Murthy, wife of Infosys founder Narayan Murthy was just as qualified as him and they met when they were both training in Pune. She used to earn more than him at that point and the match was refused by her parents. Their courtship stuck on and they were finally married in 1978. When Naryan Murthy started Infosys in 1983 with almost no capital and Sudha backed him through. Sudha sacrificed her career so that Murthy could build Infosys into the greatest Indian Multinational. So behind every man's success is a woman's mute sacrifice.
