Expensive Christmas Tree Comes From Japan
So what's so special about this Christmas tree? Well, it is a solid gold tree that is worth millions. Measuring 2.4 meters and weighing around 12 kilograms, the luxurious tree is made of 24 carat pure gold. It has decorations in the form of plates, hearts and ribbons, all in gold. The exact pricing of the expensive Christmas tree is $2 million.
This isn't the first time Ginza Tanaka made such an expensive piece. Earlier, the store had designed a 24 carat gold horse for the Japan's newborn prince. The posh store is located in the Ginza district. Ginza teamed up with flower arrangement artist Shogo Kariyazaki to create this beautiful ornament tree.
The heart shaped ornament pieces on the expensive Christmas tree is about 60. In 2010, Dubai exhibited a luxurious solid gold tree measuring 1.3 metres in height. A seven star hotel in Abu Dhabi was the main attraction during the season as the tree was showcased for travellers. The tree was much more expensive than this year's Japanese Christmas tree. It was priced $11 million.
It had silver and gold bows, ball-shaped ornaments with neckpieces and earrings. There were even lights to add to the dazzle of the expensive christmas tree.
