Inside Rashmika Mandanna–Vijay Deverakonda’s Udaipur Wedding: Venue, Mehndi, Haldi, And Sangeet Details
Holi season might be grabbing headlines, but for fans of South cinema, another momentous celebration is unfolding too. Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have finally turned years of rumours into reality with their wedding, affectionately dubbed the Wedding of VIROSH, a fan-coined blend of their names. And while the couple are keeping the feel personal, the three-day destination celebration in Udaipur has already begun to delight onlookers with exclusive glimpses and speculation-turning-fact moments.
A Private Hub of Luxury: The Wedding Venue
After months of guesswork, sources have now confirmed that the big day will take place at ITC Mementoes Udaipur, a private, hilltop luxury resort set about 25-30 km outside the city in the serene Aravalli hills. The estate - spread across a scenic landscape with its own river, lake, helipad and 117 private villas - offers a perfect blend of privacy and grandeur for a celebrity celebration that's intimate yet unforgettable.
Security has been a major focus: arrangements around Maharana Pratap Airport have been strengthened, and with strict no-phone and no-drone policies in place at the venue itself, the couple hopes to keep the festivities close to family, friends and invited guests only.
The Festivities: Mehndi, Haldi & Sangeet
The VIROSH wedding celebrations officially kicked off before the main ceremony with pre-wedding rituals that have been delighting fans with glimpses of colour, music and joy:
Mehndi - February 24, 2026
The wedding festivities began with the mehndi ceremony, which was the first major pre-wedding ceremony. Friends and relatives were present at the Udaipur venue as the couple indulged in the traditional henna ceremony and music.
Haldi & Sangeet - February 25, 2026
The following day is set aside for the haldi and sangeet ceremonies, where turmeric paste is applied in a fun-filled ceremony, and families come together to celebrate with songs, dance, and laughter. This is where the cultural ceremony meets the age-old fun of pre-wedding Indian culture.
Through social media snippets shared by the couple, we have also seen parties with volleyball games by the pool, curated dinners, and even Japanese food experiences for their invited circle.
The Big Day: Wedding Ceremony - February 26, 2026
All roads lead to the main wedding event scheduled to take place on February 26, 2026, where Rashmika and Vijay will tie the knot in the presence of their inner circle.
While there's anticipation of smaller public glimpses, it's clear the priority is private memories: guest numbers are being kept to around 100, with only select filmmakers and a few political figures expected alongside family and friends.
Beyond Udaipur: Reception Plans
The celebrations won't end in Rajasthan. There are reports of a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad that has been planned for March 4, 2026, where the newlyweds will meet their peers from the film industry.
A Celebration With Meaning
Instead of a public spectacle, Rashmika and Vijay have chosen heartfelt moments with those closest to them, anchored by modern rituals and luxury hospitality. Fans have long awaited this chapter in their story, and while the couple keep the ceremony intimate, every pre-wedding detail has already become part of the year's most talked-about celebration.
