Kajol Had Almost Declined 'We Are Family'

'We Are Family', The remake of Hollywood movie 'Stepmom' is all set to release on 10th of September. The movie stars Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.

After 'My Name Is Khan', Kajol was looking for a break from acting as she was very tired and had almost declined 'We Are Family'. She was also quite skeptical about working with first time director, Siddharth Malhotra . But then when she heard the narration of the movie, she found it interesting.

'We Are Family', she says is different from the original movie, in many aspects. The fact that it is about Indian people, makes it different. Kajol says, 'We Are Family', came out to be very different from the script and she liked it better.

She reveals that it is now easy for her to play mom as she is a mother in real life. To take care of children comes naturally and even the body language, the voice etc everything changes. All this has been reflected on the screen very well, making it look quite natural.

She accepts she was nervous at the beginning, being surrounded by three kids and new day actors like Arjun and Kareena but it all went off well and they had a good time shooting for the film. After the making of the film, she had no doubt on the capabilities of Siddharth Malhotra's directorship.

Along with the whole crew and cast of 'We Are Family', Kajol too is looking forward for the release.
