Cheryl Cole Holds On To Her Wedding Ring

Cheryl Cole is getting rid of gifts that her soon-to-be- ex-husband Ashley bought her during their marriage.

The Girls Aloud star (26) has given away thousands of pounds worth of gifts given to her by her hubby Ashley including a diamond heart pendant.

The gifts include expensive jeweleries too. Unwanted necklaces, earrings and bracelets were dished out to her friends and mother.

“Cheryl has had a massive clear-out, like anyone would after a break-up. A load of jewellery, especially earrings and necklaces, some of which were bought for her by Ashley, were thrown into the tidy-up," said a source close to Cheryl.

The singer launched divorce proceedings against Ashley Cole, last week. Though she wants to close that chapter of life and get rid of everything that reminds her of the relationship, it seems that she has held on to her wedding ring.
