AVG says one in ten web users risk personal information!
As per a new survey conducted by anti virus software provider AVG says, that one in ten Internet users risk their personal information without sufficient safety measures.
The survey has also revealed that about 718 million pounds worth of downloaded music of people accustomed to storing their music online without adequate security cover is at risk .
The survey also stated that women beat the men in using computer security software. However it is to be noted that 95 per cent of Internet users over the age of 50 install anti-virus software.
As per the quote of the 'Scotsman' on AVG managing director Mike Foreman words, "It's astonishing how much we store on our personal computers today, and how open we can leave ourselves to cyber criminals and the loss of content with financial and emotional implications"
