A.R. Rahman Says It's 'Insane' for Grammy

The legendary Indian musician AR Rahman says its sappy to get a Grammy Award again after the two Oscar Awards of yesteryear. During the ceremony of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, the Mozart of Madras bestowed two awards for him. Rahman is awarded for the best film song and the best soundtrack for the compositions of Slumdog Millionaire, which gave him the Oscar Award of 2009.

Rahman thanks the God again for his majesty, though he calls this victory 'insane'.

Slum Dog Millionaire had presented the great singer/musician with two Oscars- a Bafta and a Golden Globe for his outstanding compositions.

It was the Jai Ho song in the film, which annexed the best motion picture song. It was sung by AR Rehman along with Shah, Sukhvinder Singh, Mahalaxmi Iyer, and Vijay Prakash.
