Freida Pinto Now At The Top-Ten List Of FHM

Life seems to have suddenly moved on to the fast track for this little-known Mumbai-based model, Freida Pinto. Why, any dispute? How many of you were familiar with her before the whole oscar-thing happened? Instant stardom is rare, but when it happens, it brings a lot of things with it. Fame tops the list. With already a few hollywood movies up her sleeves, this model who must have been struggling with her movie career, is suddenly seeing all the card on her side.

Life seems to be taking Frieda to places, and the journey has been rapid. And why not? After all, the ticket comes from none other than the multi oscar winning movie, Slumdog Millionaire. People may call her a diva, she might have been seen photographed along with hollywood divas, walking down the red carpet along side the top actors in the movie industry, both in Indian and abroad, but to many she'll remain the soft and tender girl, Latika. The movie she debuted was about the story of a young boy searching for his lost love, Latika (played by Freida).

Now, Freida seems to be breaking all barriers. "Freida"s was a fresh face that was exposed in an international project. That worked to her advantage since she did not have any baggage attached with her. She is this fresh girl, good with English who can carry herself and that"s why (she is) liked by many," quoted Omar Quereshi, as saying. "Most Indian actresses first concentrate on Bollywood films and then are picked up by Hollywood directors for international projects. So their prime focus has always been Bollywood," he concludes.

And now, there has been an addition of another feather to the cap. FHM magazine has conferred her the 10 th position in the 100 Sexiest Women List of 2009. With her name in the list, she, for sure, will awestruck a lot of the people. After all, it's not often that we find some body like her landing in a prestigious list at just one go. This has been her first appearance, and the blow seems to be hard. The top three position was bestowed upon Cheryl Cole, rank one; Megan Fox, rank two; and Jessica Alba; rank three.
