Brittany Murphy was on the look out for love as much as she was Hollywood hungry, a source revealed.

"She sought out love and affection and wanted to find true love with [husband] Simon [Monjack] after a slew of messy relationships," a source revealed to Fox411.com

Stardom is hardly spared by problems and Brittany had her own share said the source.

Brittany had two broken engagements to actor Ashton Kutcher and production assistant Joe Macaluso before she tied the knot with British screenwriter, Simon Monjack.

Hollywood dreams were big in Brittany and the source said, "She was very hard on herself. She wanted more work, bigger roles, and married Simon quickly because she wanted the comfort she thought a husband could give her."

Simon Monjack told 'Access Hollywood' after his wife's shocking death, "My world was destroyed."

News has it that the dead actress has willed her entire estate to her mom Sharon Murphy.

TMZ.com has it that the will was made before Brittany's marriage. But the doubt arises if Brittany has amended the will after her marriage.

It was Sharon who found Brittany dead in the bathroom, who complained about shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain, 10 days prior to her death due to a cardiac arrest.

Meanwhile it is speculated by docs if Brittany died of a drug overdose. A huge store of drugs found in the bedroom of the actress includes Topamax (an anti-seizure med that also prevents migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepinean (treats Diabetic symptoms, as well as bipolar med) Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (for hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.
