Baba Ramdev Against Smoking
Protest against public smoking is long old news, but latest to voice his concerns is Baba Ramdev. Reportedly the yoga guru publicly voiced his criticism against smoking on screen. According to him, promoting drugs in any form is wrong.
"I am not criticizing the Judiciary, but it was wrong to support the promotion of drugs in any form," Ramdev said. He also added that "The law was in favor of the masses but unfortunately our court has opted an irresponsible attitude, which was not accepted by many citizens of the country". Baba Ramdev is a leading Yoga guru known worldwide for his natural remedies.
Last month the Delhi High Court rejected the Central government's ban on smoking in films, claiming that it would restrict creativity and expression.AGENCIES
