The first official Indian Ocean Rowing Race include TV producer Amy Green said that she along with Fiona Waller, Jo Jackson, Sarah Duff. The ordeal is expected to take 75 days to complete.
The 33-year old producer further said that it was the painful saltwater sores that the team dreaded because that could make them carry out the gruelling task without clothes. This all-girls team will face shark-infested waters, 50ft waves and hurricane-force winds as part of the challenge, will be strapped to their 29-foot boat by safety cords.
If the team manages to to row the 3,100 nautical miles from Western Australia to Mauritius successfully, they would further be able to raise 50,000 pounds for Breast Cancer Care. "We just wanted to get across.
