Singapore : Steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal says he is young and fit to continue his sprawling business across the world.
Responding to a lifetime achievement award presented to him in Singapore, Mr Mittal said: "It hasn't escaped my notice that this award is a lifetime achievement award. But just to let you know that I haven't finished yet. I'm still pretty young and a fit person." The Forbes award was presented by publishing tycoon Steve Forbes yesterday at the Global CEO Forum which is being held 8-10 September.
The India-born Mr Mittal is the chairman and chief executive officer of Arcelor Mittal, which has steel operations around the world and have committed multi-billion dollars to new investments in steel plants in India, Indonesia and Thailand.
