Google Health Launched

Proponents of Google Health say that they could make medical data more accessible for patients, enabling them to take control of their health care. The service lets users to link information from a handful of pharmacies and care providers, including Quest Diagnostics labs.
Besides importing records from providers, users can enhance their password-protected profiles with details, such as allergies and medications. They can search for doctors and locate web-based health tools. To gain consumer acceptance, Google promises that people"s personal health information will never appear in search results.
In order for Google Health to be of much use, you need to provide about your health history by creating a personal medical profile. It is easy enough to get started. You provide your age, weight, medical conditions, medications, allergies, and so on. It provides guided keyword suggestions, so that when you type in a symptom, you get a list of health terms.
Google Health is Google's most significant business launch since Ad Words. Google plans to add more.
