Cate Blanchett To Get Walk Of Fame Star

The Australian actress will be the 2,376th celebrity to be given the honour, which was first created in 1958.The first star, awarded on February 9, 1960, went to Joanne Woodward.
Hollywood director Steven Spielberg and David Fincher – the director of Blanchett''s upcoming film 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' - will accompany Cate for the unveiling of her star in front of the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard on December 5th.
