The short statured Obama about the size of a Barbie, a creation of the Jailbreak of New Jersey is said to be the apple of the kids' eye lately. Little hands are all about the dolls grabbing them to make them their own at the Scholastic Store in SoHo.
The New York Daily News has the words of a worker saying "They are literally flying off the shelves. The kids see Obama, and they just want to grab him"
The Broadway Store had their shelves emptying of the President elect's figure with 200 of them already sold for 12.95 dollar each in the words of the manager Denys Ramos.
Ramos said: "This holiday season Barack Obama has been our Tickle Me Elmo. We did have the John McCain figure, but we had to discount it."
