watches launches watches eyeplus
Bangalore, Mar 29 (UNI) watches Industries, by launching the watches Eyeplus, today announced its foray into prescription eye wear business.
Talking to newsmen after the launch, watches Industries Managing Director Bhaskar Bhat said that the watches Eyeplus will be piloted initially in Bangalore and Nagpur and subsequently rolled out nationally in the next fiscal.
In the first phase the company plans to open five watches Eyeplus stores in Bangalore and one in Nagpur, he added.
The current Indian prescription eye wear market was sizeable with nearly 30 per cent of the population on requiring vision correction, he added.
Stating that the prescription wear foray represents watches's third major line of consumer business after watches and jewellery, he said that watches Eyeplus stores will offer the widest and most stylish optical range currently available in the country.
