Amy Winehouse will go head-to-head with the Arctic Monkeys at this year's Mojo Awards. The 'Rehab' singer has been nominated for three awards, while the Arctic Monkeys and Scottish band, The View are both up for two.
Having lost out to The Arctic Monkeys in the Best Album category at the BRITS, Winehouse will battle the Sheffield rockers for Best Album and Song of the Year. She has also been nominated for Best Live Act, while The View are up for Best Song for catchy hit 'Same Jeans', as well as Best Breakthrough Act.
Winehouse faces stiff competition in the Best Song category from Beth Ditto, whose band Gossip gained recognition for hit 'Standing in the Way of Control .
It is not just the new generation of stars who will compete for awards at the London ceremony on June18.
Bob Dylan's latest effort 'Modern Times' has been put forward for Best Album while The Who are in the running for Best Live Act at the respected British magazine's award show.
