Tired Of A Dirty Bathroom? Genius DIY Techniques For Cleaning Bathrooms That You Should Try ASAP
This piece provides easy DIY techniques for efficiently cleaning Indian bathrooms. It covers various aspects like removing hard water stains, soap scum and other stubborn dirt using easily available household ingredients. The article also offers tips on maintaining freshness in the bathroom space.
Bathrooms are the most frequently used spaces in our homes and hence, they require regular cleaning. However, at times, it can be a bit challenging to clean due to the presence of hard water stains, soap scum, and other stubborn dirt. But fret not!
With some simple DIY techniques using easily available household ingredients, you can make your bathroom sparkle like new.

Cleaning Toilet Bowl
The toilet bowl is often the dirtiest part of a bathroom. To clean it effectively, mix half a cup of vinegar with one cup of baking soda and pour this mixture into the bowl. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes then scrub with a toilet brush and flush. This will remove any tough stains or deposits leaving your toilet bowl shining.
Dealing With Bathroom Tiles And Grout
To restore the shine on your bathroom tiles and grout lines, prepare a solution by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray this solution onto the tiles and grout lines generously then let it sit for about 10-15 minutes before scrubbing gently with an old toothbrush or scrubber. Rinse off with warm water afterward.
Removing Hard Water Stains
Hard water leaves behind mineral deposits that make faucets look dull over time. You can bring back their shine by wrapping them in a cloth soaked in white vinegar for about an hour before wiping them down thoroughly.
Maintaining A Fresh Smelling Bathroom
For maintaining freshness in your bathroom space, consider making homemade air fresheners by adding a few drops of essential oils (like lavender or lemon) into baking soda kept inside small jars strategically placed around corners.
