Most urban homes are inhabited by working couples these days. Such couples are busy and spend less than 10 hours at home. Even busy working couples like to have pets. Pets for working people need to be of a special kind. Busy people cannot afford pets that crave for human contact as they have little time to spare.
That is why the ideal pets for working people are those animals that are self sufficient. Moreover, pets for working people should also be quite. If they are too noisy like some dog breeds, it will irritate the masters greatly. That is why, aquarium fish are one of the best pets for working people. They make neither sound nor demands a lot of your time.
The other pets that are suitable for working couples are cats. Cats are incredibly self sufficient as compared to dogs. They can feed themselves and do not need constant attention. Aquarium Fish
It is hard to find quite pets like aquarium fish. They don't make any noise, they have to be fed just twice a day and they don't need constant attention.

Love Birds
Love birds are fashionable pets for young people nowadays. They are not exactly quite as they can sing. But love birds are not noisy birds. They can be made to sit on a slit and need not be caged always.

Persian Cats
Persian cats are territorial animals. As pets, they like to have their own space. They do not like to be intruded upon and are generally aloof.

Guinea pigs are amusing little creatures that remain busy all day. They have to be kept in a cage. Besides, their fervent activity is interesting to watch.

English Bulldog
The English bulldog is another quite dog breed. They are large and bulky but gentle giants. They do not mind being alone all day or having to eat by themselves.
