Select A Lavender Pot
Firstly choose a pot for growing lavender in garden. The pot that you choose should be big enough to hold your plant. There should be minimum 8 inches all around the lavender plant so that it can grow nicely. Also give some additional soil for retaining water.

The color of the container should be light so that it can reflect the light of sun. Moreover, this will also help to keep your lavender plant cooler in hot surroundings.

The pot that you select for growing lavender must be durable and robust. Glazed ceramics or “All-weather” woods never decay and hence they can be a perfect choice. Lastly make sure that your lavender pot must have a minimum half-inch hole at the bottom for drainage.

Choose a potting mix which is devoid of any soil. You can also mix water-retaining polymers to your potting mixture if you want to restrain watering. Don’t forget to add some lime into the mixture.
