Hot Water
Used towels as well as new ones can be washed in hot water. Soak them in hot water for about 25 minutes and then rinse gently. Stained towels needs to be scrubbed a little.
Detergent
You can use a detergent powder or a bar for cleaning the towel. Both new and old ones can be cleaned using this tip.
Baking Soda
You can use baking soda as well for cleaning dirty towels and remove stains. Baking soda is ideal for white towels as it helps bring back the white shine.
Vinegar
You can even use vinegar in detergent solution to clean the dirty towel. Kitchen and hand towels can ideally be cleaned using vinegar.
Lemon
Lemon not only acts as a bleaching agent, but also leaves a citrus smell on the fabric. You can clean hand, bathing and kitchen towels using lemon juice in the detergent solution.
Salt
Most of the people use white towels. Cleaning them becomes very difficult, so you can have salt to clean the stains and prevent it from becoming yellow.
Fabric Softener
To make the towel smell good and remain soft on the skin, you must use a fabric softener after washing.
