Girls like painting their nails and there is no denying the fact. Did you know that there are some serious health effects of the same and that it's high time you stopped applying it every day?
A recent study has discovered that the chemicals present in a nail polish can enter the bloodstream within about two hours of its application.

The study examined the urine samples of a certain number of women to test for diphenyl phosphate, which forms when the body metabolizes TPHP, which is a chemical toxin.
Within 10-14 hours of application, the serum levels of DPHP in those women was found to nearly increase tenfolds, as per the study.
Experts also point out that these chemicals can contribute to infertility, hormone-related cancers like breast, ovarian, prostate as well as thyroid disorders, neurological issues, diabetes and obesity.

In some nail paints, this chemical might not be a necessary ingredient.

#6
Sometimes, it functions as a plasticizer that helps to increase the nail paint's function and durability.

#7
Some of the other chemicals that are found in certain nail polishes are formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate and toluene.

#8
These chemicals can cause many problems, ranging from respiratory diseases, ingestion issues as well as drowsiness and headaches. These are some of the major health problems that can be caused by the excessive use of a nail polish.
