Or we might have got up to answer the doorbell and faced such a situation. In most cases there is nothing to worry about but in certain cases, things need to be taken seriously.

1. Hypotension:
The first case where medical intervention is required is if the patient is seen to suffer from hypotension. People with very low blood pressure levels are said to suffer from this. These people cannot keep standing for more than a couple of minutes. If they do, they see darkness before their eyes and feel dizzy.
These people have to keep looking for places to sit if they stand for more than five minutes. You must have seen people standing in queues fainting all of a sudden. These people could be suffering from acute hypotension.
These people need to keep their blood pressure levels stable by taking electrolytes. Even a pinch of table salt dissolved in a glass of water and taken regularly can raise their blood pressure levels. The salt helps to retain water in the body and stabilize the blood pressure level.

2. Parkinson's:
The dizziness and blackout could be the reason for the onset of another kind of disease as well. Research has found that people who suffer from Parkinson's suffer from blackouts and blurred vision in the early stages of the disease. So get yourself checked and take proper medication in such a case.

3. Dehydration:
The other cause of blackout is dehydration. If you do not keep yourself hydrated properly, you can end up suffering from blackouts. Make sure to drink plenty of water and fruit and vegetable juices to avoid blackouts.

4. Strong Medication:
Other reasons for blackouts could be strong medication that the body is not able to handle or diabetes and overweight problems.
