Vajrasana (Diamond Pose) For Better Digestion
Are you constantly suffering from digestion problems? You have tried several medications as well as exercises but have failed to get the desired results. So in such circumstances the best option would be to take up yoga.
Vajrasana is one of the well known and simplest yoga asanas which helps in easing digestion problems.
When you have a problem with digestion, your tummy gets bloated, you feel uncomfortable and have a feeling of nausea and vomiting. You pop in a tablet and get relief. But this is just a temporary solution. Hence, yoga asana, specifically Vajrasana is one of the best asanas for indigestion.

The word Vajrasana comes from the Sanskrit words 'Vajra' which means diamond and 'Asana' which means pose. Also the best part of this asana is that it can be practised any time of the day even after your lunch or dinner.
Apart from curing your digestion problems, with regular practise Vajrasana helps in making you stronger and healthier. Here is the step-wise procedure to perform Vajrasana. Take a look.
Step-by-step Procedure To Perform Vajrasana:
1. To begin with come to a standing position.
2. Get down to sitting position. Sit flat on the ground with your legs stretched forward.
3. Slowly fold your legs with the top of your legs pressed against the ground.
4. The spine should be kept straight.
5. Place your palms on the knees.
6. As you settle down to the position, take deep breaths in and out.
7. Continue it for about a few minutes.
8. Slowly come out of the position.
