Tips To Reduce Teeth Sensitivity
The problem with sensitive teeth is that they never let you enjoy your favourite foods. Even a pleasure like eating food can turn into a painful activity.

The moment certain foods come into contact with your teeth, you might start yelling with pain. What's the reason? Well, when the enamel which is a protective layer, gets damaged due to any reason, your teeth tend to become sensitive.
Also, plaque buildup and rough brushing could also be the reasons. When plaque buildup occurs, certain acids are emitted in your mouth and that could cause irritation. In fact, dentists recommend brushing teeth at least 2 times a day to avoid the buildup of plaque.

Now, let us discuss some tips to deal with the problem of sensitivity.

Tip #1
Certain acidic foods attack your enamel. Avoid them. Pickles, fruit juices, red wine and other acidic foods may cause the pain.

Tip #2
Teeth grinding is one risk that may damage the enamel. If you have the habit of grinding teeth in your sleep, visit a dentist and get a teeth guard.

Tip #3
Start using a toothpaste that is designed for sensitive teeth. Though your problem may not be solved instantly, gradually, you may find relief. An ingredient in those sensitive toothpastes blocks the tubules in your teeth to diminish the pain.

Tip #4
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, smoking and other habits that spoil your oral health.

Tip #5
Firstly, brush your teeth for at least 2 minutes. Secondly, use a soft tooth brush. And thirdly, brush gently instead of brushing vigorously.

Tip #6
If you have the problem of receding gums due to any reason, contact a dentist to get a simple treatment done.

Tip #7
Visit a dentist and explain the problem. There are certain desensitizing treatments which might work for a few months or even years. Depending upon your affordability, try them out.
