How Stress Is Silently Killing The Modern Society
In the current scenario, stress has become a part of our everyday lives. Everyone is talking about stress management. But instead of managing stress we must make an attempt to get rid of stress from our lives. This is because stress affects us in a number of negative ways.
Stress causes blood platelets to adhere together, which raises blood pressure level. Stress floods your system with homocysteine and cortisol, which are linked to high blood pressure level, heart issues and a propensity to gain weight.

Stress causes the body to burn essential nutrients at an immediate speed, which can lead to nutritional deficiency leading to bad organ and gland function. Stress interrupts digestion, which indicates food goes somewhat undigested and you get only a fraction of the nutrients from the food you would get otherwise.

Stress also causes depression, sleep difficulties, and unhealthy skin conditions. It is essential to reduce stress to prevent these results. Stress can lead to mood swings. Individuals who are jumpy, cranky, irritated or get frustrated or angry easily are often under stress.

Stress can also lead to conditions like a racing heart, sweaty palms, upset stomach, sickness, rigid neck or jaw, rigidity or pain in the back and diarrhoea. It also leads to muscle tension and tenderness, lung troubles, arthritis pain, stomach ulcers, and other illnesses.

Stress can result from excessive smoking, excessive drinking, eating too much of fast food, junk food, food items high in sugar, having a nutritionally deficient diet, insufficient sleep, pushing yourself physically away from limitations, and doing anything that clearly works against your well being.

Hence, it becomes inevitable to banish stress from our lives. There are numerous ways in which you can do that and live a far healthier, happier and longer life. It is important to understand what is causing stress in your life and change your way of life so that you experience less strain on a regular basis.
Also, eat a well-balanced diet, exercise regularly, do things that give you joy and above all, meditate. These will definitely help you to lead a stress-free life.
