Smoking
Many people think that a headache can be treated by smoking. Well, smoking can give you a mental relief for sometime, but then the headache will worsen. Moreover, smoking is a bad habit which is harmful for the health. So, avoid doing this during a headache.

Drinking
Some people think that getting rid of the painful head is easier when they gulp down some alcohol. Drinking can help you get a nice sleep, but the morning will be really bad with the hangover!

Avoiding Healthy Fluids
Dehydration is one of the causes of headache. To get rid of headache, avoid doing this. Drink lots of water when you are feeling a minor headache. You will feel better.

Skipping Meals
Skipping meals due to headache is not the solution to get rid of it. Have your proper meal.

When you are suffering from a headache, take some rest. It will provide relief to the body and mind.

When you are having a headache, avoid applying a strong perfume. The essence can trigger the headache and worsen it.

Staying In Bright Light
During a headache, you must avoid staying in brightness. Some dark or dim room will soothe the pain and also freshen your mood.
