Diabetes is a disease that is usually not curable. Once your body becomes insulin resistant, you will remain diabetic all your life. So if you have been diagnosed with diabetes, you lifestyle needs to change. The kind of lifestyle that you had before diabetes affected you will not do after your blood sugar levels go high.
The effects of diabetes can be really nasty if they are not controlled. You may even go blind if you don't make some necessary lifestyle changes. Your lifestyle after becoming diabetic needs to include some basic exercise, sufficient sleep and healthy (sugar-free) food.
