Your habits have a great impact on your health. Some good habits like sleeping on time, eating healthy and following a healthy lifestyle is good for the body. However, most of us are addicted to some bad habits which are troublesome for our overall health.
We all want to have a healthy and pumping heart. However, some bad habits are interfering with the normal functioning of the heart. You might not know but some habits trouble your heart and can lead to complications.
There are certain habits that trouble your heart. For example, watching TV for long hours, smoking, taking stress, lack of exercise and so on are few common habits that trouble your heart. Shocking right? Wondering how sitting and watching television affects your heart health? Experts say that lack of movement can affect your blood vessels and sugar levels. Even sitting for long hours on the couch of office chair can be bad for the heart. Your heart needs some extra pumping which should be done with little warm ups. For example, if you are at work, make sure you get up and walk at least 4-5 times every two hour. You can go to fill water in the bottle or simply talk over the phone. In short, constant body movement is important.
Many people also have the habit of taking stress of everything and ignoring it. Stress and depression can be really bad for your heart health. Your emotions have a great impact on your heart so, ignoring such habits and issues is not a healthy way!

Depression and loneliness are some habits that creates trouble for the heart. There are times when we all love to be alone. But it is very important to get back on track and build your communicating skills as it keeps you happy.

Stress
This hectic lifestyle has promoted stress. Taking stress is a habit that promotes heart problems. So make sure you avoid taking stress.

Lack Of Exercise
It is very important to workout every day for at least 30 minutes. It improves blood circulation, stabilises blood pressure levels and also improves its functioning. Most of the people have the habit of either working out too much or not doing exercise at all.

Alcohol
It is true that limited consumption of alcohol is good for the heart. But when you over-consume alcohol and make it a bad habit, it takes a toll on your heart. Alcohol is linked to problems like high blood pressure, high levels of blood fats, and heart failure.

Over-Eating
Eating too much is also bad for the health. It not only leads to weight gain, but also leads to heart problems. For heart health, avoid eating high calorie and carb-rich foods.

Eating Red Meat
It is best to make it a habit of eating red meat occasionally. Eating red meat every day (especially processed red meat like bacon) can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Avoiding Healthy Foods
Most of us have the habit of avoiding fresh fruits, whole grains and dairy products in the daily diet. Researches have shown that people who eat fruits and vegetables every day are at lower risk of having cardiovascular diseases.
