6 Ways To Prevent Air Sickness

Eat less: Filled stomach can increase the chances of motion sickness. So, eat less before getting into the airplane. Carry some snacks you love to eat. These snacks prevent you from feeling air sick.
Do not think: Divert your mind. Think about something that keeps you engaged while you are flying. Play video games or listen to soft music that induces sleep. Slow music can also relax your mind and divert your thoughts.
Carry cotton balls: Earaches or blocked ears are common problems of air sick people. Noise inside the ears increase the motion sickness. To prevent air sickness and earaches, carry cotton balls. Wear them before the flight departs.
Mouth fresheners: This is a great idea to keep yourself busy. Mint mouth fresheners change the taste of your mouth and also reduce the sickness. You can also carry ginger or amla slices to avoid nausea feeling.
Increase body movements: When you listen to a nice song, your hands and feet start moving automatically. Similarly, when you are flying, move your toes, hands and fingers. This not only diverts your mind but also prevents motion sickness.
Drink water: If you are not feeling well while flying then keep drinking cold water from time to time. You can also have fruit juices or some flavoured fluid to divert your mind. Gulping your best flavoured drink also relaxes you from air sickness.
