Ways To Drink More Water Than You Do

If you want to drink more water during the day, you will have to apply some strategies that will make it happen.
Ways To Drink More Water Than You Do:
1. Know How Much Water Is Enough: The first step is to know how much water per day is sufficient. That way, it becomes easier to calculate what is the deficit amount. The standard rule is 8 ounce glasses that come up to 2 litres. But that is for a person who does not do a lot of physical activity. If you are in a hot and humid tropical weather, you need at least 3 litres of water everyday.
2. How Much Water Do You Drink: The next step is to calculate how much water you drink per day. Mostly, we drink water in gulps and are unmindful of the exact amount we are consuming. We need to make a conscious effort to make note of how much water we are drinking. You can keep a tumbler with a measuring scale itched on it to be sure.
3. Drink From Glasses Not Bottles: We have a tendency to come home thirsty and grab a bottle of water. We go for a couple of gulps, and we are done. But when you pour yourself a glass of water, you will, most probably, drink all of it. It increases the amount of water you drink and also helps you keep a count.
4. Do Not Drink Cold Water: We all prefer to have cold water, especially in the summers. But cold water satiates your thirst quickly. If you want to drink more water than you do, then you must drink water that is at room temperature.
5. Drink Water At Workplace: We spent most of our waking hours at work. That is the time when we get most dehydrated because we are too busy to drink water. Keep a tumbler full of water at your work station. Keep a target that you will finish the designated amount of water by the end of the day.
6. Spread It Out: You cannot spread out your quota of 2 to 3 litres in a day at once. If you have to avail all the benefits of drinking water, it is important to divide it into small portions. You need to drink water throughout the day so that you remain hydrated.
7. Replacements Of Water: If you cannot drink more water, trying coconut water or fruit juices can also be a good habit. The idea is to get fluids into the body.
