Travel Tips For A Healthy Stomach -
Choosing the Right Food:
1. Always carry a hand sanitizer in your handbag. The sanitizers kill the germs and wouldn't even require water. Use sanitizers every time you plan to eat food.
2. Prefer packed food, juices as they are safe enough. Choose fruits like banana, pear, apples and citrus fruits as they can be wipe with just a paper towel and had. Don't eat cut fruits.
3. Drink only hot water as most of the germs would be killed due to boiling.
4. Avoid Ice cubes, readymade salads, half cooked food, eggs and ice creams.
5. If you are planning to buy any food stuffs, always buy the ones with the recent manufacturing date.
6. Avoid fried foods to avoid stomach problems.
Preventive Measures For Travel Stomach Problems -
1. If traveling, eat your meal at least 2 hours before traveling. This is especially for those who suffer from nausea and vomiting problems.
2. Always keep self engaged when you are travelling on ghats as all this discomfort is sometimes psychological.
3. Drink jal jeera or aamchur, salted dry amla that quicken digestion (cures gastritis).
4. Singing relaxes mind so listening to music while traveling keep divert your attention from the discomfort.
5. Drink lots of water as it cleanses food remains and supports faster digestion.
