Can Mushroom Prevent Breast Cancer?

Breast Cancer which is the one of the biggest threat to women across the globe can now be prevented with mushroom consumption. According to a study on Chinese women, mushroom prevents Breast cancer better than green tea. The study had also concluded that one ounce of mushroom consumption everyday reduced the chances of Breast Cancer among women by 64% and another study went on to claim it reduces chances of Breast Cancer by 90%.
According to a research published by International Journal of Cancer, more studies need to be done to prove that mushroom can prevent Breast Cancer. According to one of their finding, fungi have anti-tumour property, which stimulates the immune system. Mushrooms prevent Breast cancer by blocking he production of the hormone oestrogen, which enhances the development of the tumour.
According to a report 40,000 women in Britain are diagnosed with Breast Cancer and diet has been termed as the sole reason. China on the other hand report only 20,000 Breast Cancer cases and one of the main reason was found to be consumption of mushrooms.
