Cut Mineral Intake To Avoid Age Related Diseases

Copper and iron are essential nutrients for life. At a younger age, it is advisable to eat food rich in iron and copper contents. It is beneficial to the reproductive health of younger people. However, as you grow old, its need is much lesser.
After the age of 50 the effects of the two metals get reversed. It becomes a toxin for the ageing body. High levels of them can damage cells in ways that may contribute to a range of age-related diseases.
A large segments of the population are at risk for toxicities from copper and iron. It is important for people to become aware and avoid it as a preventive step to age related diseases.
Besides mineral intake in food, older people should avoid high vitamin and mineral pills, lower meat intake. Zinc supplements should be taken to lower copper levels in the blood.
