Keep Your Teeth Fluoride Fresh

A new study has claimed that drinking tap water may help you avoid dentist"s drill.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that tooth decay, if left untreated, can go ahead to become a serious trouble causing not only pain and infections but it may also hinder eating, speaking, playing and learning.
The best way to control this addition of a fluoride compound to public water supplies. This is a one stop solution to prevent cavities and fight tooth decay.
“Fluoride makes the entire tooth structure more resistant to decay and promotes remineralization, which aids in repairing early decay before damage is even visible.Studies have confirmed the most effective source of fluoride to be water fluoridation," said C.H. Chu
Instead of drilling holes to fix cavities, Dr. Chu advices the dentists to educated patients about ways to avoid developing tooth decay in the first place. He also confirmed that drinking tap water to receive fluoride is safe.
Another best source of fluoride is varnish. Varnish, is a commercial solution with positive results. Varnishes that contain sodium fluoride adhere to tooth surfaces when saliva is present, providing an excellent fluoride treatment.
Keeping fluoride in the mouth enhances its ability to prevent demineralization and enhance remineralization. Fluoride varnishes are typically used for patients who don"t receive enough fluoride from other sources.
Dr. Chu, had tested Milk, salt products, toothpaste, mouth rinse etc, but found water fluoridation and varnish the most effective prevention. They have the ability to cure the cavities to 60 percent.
