Body Massage And It's Benefits

Benefits of body massage -
1.Relaxes Muscles – Due to work pressure, wrong posture and tension, we all face the common problem of body pain. The pain is usually due to tensed muscles and reduced blood circulation. Improper blood circulation leads to lack of oxygen, which causes the pain. Body massage eases the muscles, thus releasing the flow of oxygen, which reduces the pain.
2.Reduces Pain – Experts have introduced a process called the “gate control theory". This means that rubbing the affected painful area can lead to blocking the pain signals to brain. The pain signals usually travels from the affected area, to the spinal cord and then to the brain. While rubbing the affected area, various other impulses are also send to the brain from the same nerve. This leads to signal clogging, thus reducing the pain impulse.
3.Reduces Stress – Massage treats stress by relaxing the senses and working on the pressured points. The nerve system is interconnected and thus, a pressure point blocking a nerve can lead to disturbance in functioning of another as well. Thus, these pressure points need to be released. Massaging does it quite effectively and thus a person feels stress free.
4.Glowing Skin – Massage assures right blood circulation which leads to correct working of the nerve and this further lead to glowing skin. While massaging the body, the dry dead skin is removed, thus taking off the tanning and making one look fresh. Reduced stress also leads to glowing skin.
For best results, one should go for body massage at least once a week. It benefits in building up the stamina and energy to work and it delays the ageing process.
