Does Broccoli Prevent Cancer?
A new study claims that eating broccoli once in 3 days helps a lot in reducing the risk of several types of cancers. Also, cabbage and kale deliver the same result according to health experts.

Researchers discovered certain compounds in broccoli that are said to minimise the buildup of harmful compounds which are linked with certain cancers, asthma, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Though certain types of inflammation are good for the body, they could also cause several health issues. So, anti-inflammatory foods in your diet could reduce your chances of developing certain diseases.

Also, these vegetables can be eaten either raw or in cooked form without losing much of the nutrients that help keep health issues at bay.

When you consume certain vegetables like broccoli, some of the compounds in them target various areas in the body and combat inflammation effectively. The anti-oxidants in them prove to be effective.

The helpful compounds in these vegetables do their job well but if you don't consume them regularly, the help that they could render may go waste.

Therefore, a healthy diet isn't a one-day thing. It should be a part of your lifestyle and that is what health experts say as far as consuming broccoli is concerned.
