How To Avoid Summer Food Poisoning
Have you ever wondered the reason behind summer food poisoning? Well, during this warm season, certain micro organisms breed faster.
That is the reason why it is important to know about summer food safety. The cooking and storing practices should be changed a bit during this season in order to ensure that the food doesn't get spoiled.
If you mishandle food, it gets spoiled fast and having it may be harmful to your health. When there are warm and humid conditions prevailing around, bacteria can survive.
A refrigerator is a must if you are planning to eat food hours after preparation. It is better to eat fresh food. If its is not possible, storing foods in a refrigerator is important.
How To Deal With Food Poisoning In Pregnancy
Diarrhea and vomiting are some side effects of food poisoning. So, it is better to handle food carefully during this season.

Storing Foods
It is better to keep all your foods inside the refrigerator if you don't wish to consume them immediately.

Dish Washing
Ensure that you wash your dishes and plates thoroughly soon after you finish eating. This is one of the summer food safety tips.

Consumption Of Outside Food
When you buy food from outside, ensure that you get it packed in an insulated box. Soon after you reach home, consume it fast.

Washing Hands
If you are not feeling well, ensure that you don't touch food with your bear hands. Also, ensure that you wash your hands soon after touching raw meat with bare hands.

Spoiled Food
If your food emits smell, throw it away instead of eating. Any food that is exposed to the air for a few hours in summer, gets spoiled. This applies to rice and meat.

Storing Meat
Inside your refrigerator, ensure that you don't place raw meat or fish near other foods. Use separate containers. Raw meat contains bacteria. If it spreads to cooked food that is placed nearby, it causes summer food poisoning.

Leftovers
If there is any food remaining, carefully store it in the refrigerator or throw it away immediately. This is important for food safety during summer.

Hot Foods
When you want to place hot foods inside the refrigerator, do it the moment it loses steam. Don't wait for it to totally cool down.

Maintain Space
Ensure that your refrigerator has enough empty space so that air can circulate better. Filling it without leaving enough space is not advisable.
