Taapsee Pannu Got Varicose Veins Removed: Natural Remedies To Treat It
Listed here are a few of the best natural remedies that have been effective in treating varicose veins.
Taapsee Pannu has recently revealed in an interview that she got her varicose veins removed just six weeks before starting on the training for her upcoming film Rashmi Rocket. She added that she has been on a very strict diet and workouts for her new movie.

Veins are those blood vessels in our body that carry blood from every part of the body and return it to the heart, more particularly, only the impure blood - for the heart to purify the same.
When this function gets affected, the blood gets stagnated, leading to bulging up. This visible bulging veins are called the varicose veins and are most commonly found on the legs and thigh, but can develop anywhere else in the body as well.
It takes a while for them to subside, as the heart is relatively farther from the legs, and it takes an extra effort for the blood to flow against the gravity, towards the heart. So stagnation in and around legs is more likely than any other part of the body.
However, there sure are ways to tackle the same with many home remedies available, as surgery is not the most appealing of options, and thankfully it isn't the only thing that we are left with. Below are some natural remedies for varicose veins, take a look:

1. Massage:
The affected area is best kept elevated as frequently as possible, as it would help in blood circulation. However, as that cannot be done every time, massaging that area helps create space and forces the blood to flow in a direction.
The lax walls expand due to stagnation and it leads to twisting of the veins, thereby causing hindrance to blood flow even further. So, a gentle massage around that area, frequently, will definitely help mend the situation.

2. Regulation In Diet:
A certain amino acid called homocysteine is a culprit in increasing the chances of a heart disease, as high levels of it in the body can damage the lining of the blood vessels and increase the chances of varicose veins.
Also, the deficiency of B-complex vitamins is instrumental in increasing the homocysteine levels. All these supplements should ideally go to the body through food, and not separate tablets - so, foods rich in vitamins, B-complex, folic acid, folate, which are bananas, broccoli, potatoes, eggs, avocado and sunflower seeds, will help deal with the problem.

3. Exercise:
Physical activity ensures that the blood flow in the body is regulated and that is extremely important in treating varicose veins. Especially the movement of calf muscles is a must, as sitting for long hours and a lethargic lifestyle will only worsen the situation.

4. Compression:
There are tailor-made compression stockings made for varicose veins, which aid in providing a gentle compression to the area. This helps to avoid the enlargement of the blood vessel walls and the further stagnation of blood flow.

5. Chamomile Oil:
Application of this oil before one goes to bed along with coconut oil is known to reduce the heaviness and throbbing in the veins.

6. Horse Chestnut:
This is every doctor's go-to herbal remedy to not just treat varicose veins but another similar condition known as chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). For treating the former, the extract of Horse Chestnut is not supposed to be taken in its raw form, as it contains a poison called esculin.
Also, one must be careful of taking this if there is a history of liver or kidney-related issues. Always consult a doctor, but the processed form of it, without the esculin, is definitely an amazing remedy.

7. Cabbage:
It is one of the best vegetables that is rich in Vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, K, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, copper, sulphur and fibre.
Its richness in sulphur helps in destroying the ferments in the blood, thereby giving you a big relief from the soreness. You can either apply it on the affected area or consume it daily in your diet to see more durable changes.

8. Apple Cider Vinegar:
This magic drink is known for curing many diseases and has to our surprise not left this stone untouched too. ACV improves blood circulation and reduces the swelling of the veins.
You can either choose to mix two teaspoons of it in water and drink it or mix it in your daily lotion and apply it on the affected area.

9. Olive Oil:
External application of olive oil on the affected area improves blood circulation and reduces the inflammation to a large extent. Warm up the oil for better results and pair it up with Vitamin E oil too.

10. Garlic:
Except for the strong odour about it, every property of garlic is almost unparalleled and amazing. It's not only known for reducing the inflammation, but it helps detoxify your blood, which makes the flow of blood easier. Mix about three cloves of garlics' juice with olive oil and apply it on the varicose veins for quick results.
